Association Member and ‘Coventry Kid’ Bobby Gould who of course was a battling 1960s Sky Blue centre-forward and later managed CCFC twice comes back to his home town to launch his new book “24 Carat Gould” (rrp £15.99) on Thursday October 7th 2010. Bobby will host a book launch dinner in the Centurion Suite at Coventry Rugby Club, Butts Park Arena in Earlsdon at 7.30pm . Tickets (priced at £40 each) are still available and include a 3 course meal, a signed copy of the book and a question and answer session.
Coventry City Former Players Assocaition will be represented by several committee members at the launch and a charity raffle during the evening will benefit both CCFPA and Acorns Hospice.
