The FPA Committee are working hard to contact members of the City squads of 1969-70 and 1970-1 who played their part in getting the Sky Blues into Europe for their (as yet) one and only season. Response so far has been good so we hope to have some famous names back at the Ricoh next month. The Barnsley home game on Saturday 23rd October has been designated as our European Day when as many as possible players and officials from those years will gather for a reunion. We also hope to have a representative from the two European teams the Sky Blues faced in 1970 – Trakia Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and the mighty Bayern Munich (Germany)- at the game to be reunited with their erstwhile opponents.
