Members of the Former Player’s Association have recently been very pleased to support the aims and activities of two locally based children’s charities –The Snowball Appeal and MPS.
The Snowball Appeal offers help to Coventry and Warwickshire children who are hampered by handicap or hardship. MPS support the families of children with Mucopolysaccharide disease. Sufferers experience progressive physical disability and in many cases mental deterioration often leading to death in childhood.
Former Players Ron Farmer and Dave Bennett as well as committee members Bob Eales and Bob Bromage (all pictured above) recently attended a fund raising event for the two charities and Dave and Ron took great pleasure in awarding prizes to lucky winners of the raffle!
